Putting on a scoliosis brace

Although everyone has heard of scoliosis, what precisely is it? Scoliosis, to put it simply, is a disorder that results in a person’s spine curving and rotating, like the letters “S” or “C.” Scoliosis may be a benign disease in some instances, but it is frequently necessary to straighten the spine to prevent long-term problems from developing.
Fortunately, we at Eschen are very skilled at doing that.Since their large, inflexible predecessors were the standard in the business, scoliosis brace design and technology have advanced significantly. Modern scoliosis braces are light, adaptable, and discrete enough to be worn under most types of clothes. A 3-Dimensional Condition, Scoliosis
Currently, just an x-ray is used to diagnose scoliosis; however, clinical evaluation involves much more. There is a vertebral rotation, or twisting, of the spine in addition to a sideways curvature of the spine (frontal dimension; see image 1 below), as well as a flattening of the trunk, known as a “flat back” (sagittal dimension; image 3 below). Although these asymmetries are frequently obvious during a clinical examination, they are not always visible on an x-ray. Scoliosis patients’ shoulders, hips, and waists look asymmetrical from behind.

Scoliosis 3D Eschen Brace

The most recent version of the classic Boston Brace is the 3D Eschen Scoliosis Brace. The Boston Brace was developed initially as a modular device to treat the sideways curvature of the spine. We have improved the original Boston Brace into a new design that integrates the principles of 3-dimensional correction thanks to new design concepts and a greater understanding of scoliosis.
